Amazing Career Moments Happen Here Position Overview Applied Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Manager within our Inside Sales Team. This hybrid role for Chicago, Dallas‑Fort Worth, and Lincoln offices focuses on achieving sales goals within a defined territory, engaging existing customers using our legacy platforms, and promoting our modern digital platforms. What You’ll Do Drive Revenue Growth: Own your territory’s success by meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals using a proven Solution Selling framework. Consultative Prospecting: Engage in high‑impact outbound calling to uncover business objectives and tailor products to solve real‑world challenges. Fuel the Funnel: Identify new sales opportunities and keep your pipeline thriving through consistent lead follow‑up and marketing‑driven activities. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Solution Consultant SMEs to deliver tailored product demonstrations. Close with Confidence: Master negotiation to finalize deals and secure new business. Plan & Forecast: Manage territory planning, conduct pre‑call research, and deliver accurate sales forecasts. Own the Process: Maintain a meticulous CRM and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews to manage the sales lifecycle. Continuous Evolution: Pursue self‑development through seminars, research, and staying current on industry trends and product suite. Qualifications 3+ years of quota‑carrying, full‑cycle B2B sales experience. Experience consulting prospects and customers on business objectives and providing broader business coaching. Track record of exceeding new business or territory growth targets through prospecting, discovery, and closing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, high‑energy individual who thrives in a competitive but fun team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Additional Preferred Skills Software as a Service (SaaS) sales experience. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools. Targeted starting total cash compensation for this position in the United States ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 per year, including base salary and variable commissions. Earnings are uncapped.
