About the Position

TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to support local operations for our client in Biddeford, Maine. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $28 per hour
Estimated weekly pay: $1,300
Schedule: Thursday through Sunday
Start time: 10:00 a.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment type: Temp-to-perm
Work setting: On-site

Job Details

Freight: Bottles and cans for recycling
Equipment: Automatic transmission
Handling: Touch freight, including light-touch handling
License: Non-CDL
Endorsements: None required

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate non-CDL equipment on local routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Perform required freight-handling tasks.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Meet the physical demands of the role.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Valid non-CDL license.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Ability to safely perform touch-freight duties and the physical demands of the position.
