Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 34.5 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing safe, competent, and quality patient care based on nursing theory, research, and organizational standards. The position emphasizes critical patient assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and implementation of evidence-based practices. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NYS RN License, BLS certification, 2 years of post-open heart and cardiac care unit experience, and at least 2 years of RN experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Associate degree considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program. Schedule: Night shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum 34.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care, fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and families, and participating in quality and safety initiatives. Performs charge nurse duties, manages supplies and resources efficiently, and documents practice accurately. Contributes to professional development and environment of care, supporting clinical excellence, ethical decision-making, and shared governance. Preferred skills include excellent organizational abilities and ICU experience. Epic experience highly preferred.
