Trust and Estates Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney in Madison, New Jersey. Research and prepare memoranda on complicated tax matters. Advocate tax positions orally and in writing. Develop and implement estate planning techniques. Requirements Admitted to practice in New Jersey; admission in New York and/or Florida is a plus. 3+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration. Experience with gift and estate tax returns, federal and state tax issues, and corporate and partnership tax issues is helpful. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Education JD from a law school; LL.M. in Taxation or candidate for LL.M. in Taxation preferred. Master's Degree in Taxation. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
