AMT-R | Registered Medical Assistant

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R). In this role, you will work closely under the supervision of licensed independent practitioners to provide essential patient care, supporting both clinical and administrative functions to enhance patient experiences and clinic efficiency.

Job Summary

The MA-R performs patient care duties within their scope of practice, accurately carrying out provider orders and facilitating smooth patient flow. You will document patient complaints, take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain up-to-date health records in the electronic medical system. Additionally, you will assist with treatments and procedures, manage exam room supplies, and uphold infection control standards.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Medical Assistant-Registered licensure from the state health department or application within two weeks of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant-Registered preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures is advantageous.
