This school-based SLP position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload and leadership responsibilities. You’ll supervise an SLPA while providing direct services to a caseload of 20 students during the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland SLP license
• Maryland teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Previous school-based experience highly valued
• Skilled in supervising support staff and collaborating with educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to an SLPA
• Complete assessments, evaluations, and progress reports efficiently
• Coordinate and consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Support compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing case management as needed
• Provide services onsite or in a hybrid model (required for effective supervision)

The contract begins on August 17th, 2026, and runs through June 14th, 2027, with a part-time schedule of 20–25 hours weekly.
