Respiratory Therapist: NICU

Job Description Join a busy respiratory therapy team at a prominent medical facility where you’ll be immersed in advanced critical care procedures. This contract gives you the chance to work with state-of-the-art ventilators like Hamilton G5 and C1, providing breathing treatments and ventilator assessments to a diverse patient population. The unit handles high acuity cases, including trauma and pediatric patients. You’ll experience the rhythm of high-level care on a 502-bed unit during the night shift, making meaningful contributions in a fast-paced environment that values experience, initiative, and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities Provide breathing treatments and ventilator assessments for diverse patient populations on a 502-bed unit. Work within a busy respiratory therapy team on night shift delivering high-acuity care (including trauma and pediatric patients). Operate and monitor state-of-the-art ventilators, ensuring patient safety and optimal ventilation. Qualifications Active respiratory therapist (RT) license in good standing. Experience with critical care environments and high-acuity patients preferred. Ability to work night shift and adapt to a fast-paced, high-energy team.
