Registered Nurse ER

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room (ER) experience to provide skilled nursing care in an acute care facility. The Registered Nurse will perform patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team. This role requires at least 2 years of hospital experience, strong communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient status in the ER setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emergency nursing care following established protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (pending license accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, preferably with ER exposure.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

• Experience as a first-time traveler nurse with ED experience.
• Familiarity with acute care facility protocols and procedures.
• Business casual or scrub attire adaptability.

• Weekend work required as needed.
• Return to office (RTO) restrictions limit hospital stay to no more than 7 days.
• Must comply with hospital dress code of scrubs or business casual.
• Systemwide Do Not Return (DNR) policy applies if cancellations occur after signature.

• Shifts assigned based on hospital needs; specific ratios not applicable.
• Start date ASAP with coverage effective October 4, 2026, through February 27, 2027, for winter increase period.
