Associate Attorney - Healthcare Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney for its healthcare and medical malpractice litigation practice area in San Diego, CA. Duties Draft pleadings and discovery for all case aspects, including motions and mediations Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Consult and prepare expert witnesses for litigation Research complex legal areas to support case strategies Manage intensive fact discovery using electronic discovery platforms Report comprehensively to partners and client representatives Communicate and negotiate persuasively with opposing counsel Requirements Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar 5+ years of civil litigation experience; healthcare experience preferred Strong analytical and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
