Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of couples and families, establishing therapy goals, and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, with follow-up individual sessions to foster open communication and healing within familial relationships.
\n
• Addressing a variety of psycho-social issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, communication challenges, and adjustment issues related to divorce.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each family system.
\n
• Maintaining detailed and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and resource connectivity for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, addressing critical mental health issues that impact family dynamics. Your expertise in navigating complex family systems will be essential for addressing challenges such as blended family issues, separation/divorce adjustments, and communication difficulties among family members. Your contributions directly support the overall well-being and stability of families, enhancing their capacity for resilience and healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While experience in a clinical setting is preferred, all candidates who possess the necessary licensure and educational background are encouraged to apply. Flexibility in availability and willingness to work 30 hours or more per week will also be advantageous.
