Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA)

Qualifications Computer skills Clinical experience/skills Background Medical training for family practice, general practice or other primary care practice orientation with understanding and interest in preventive and community health. Key Responsibilities Examine and treat patients in the office. Admit and treat patients in the hospital on the OB/GYN service when applicable. Refer patients for specialist services as required. Participate in on‑call rotations for emergencies, evenings, weekends, or travel as needed. Examine and treat patients in emergency settings when appropriate. Maintain accurate, complete electronic and/or paper documentation of patient care services. Review laboratory, x‑ray, and emergency reports daily. Coordinate and communicate with medical support personnel. Provide backup and development of standing orders for clinical standardized care. Participate in special screening, training, and community outreach activities. Collaborate with other health providers in the area. Assist in drafting medical policies with the GMC Chief Medical Officer and CEO. Perform all other medically related assigned duties. Review communications from Goshen managers and respond promptly. Job Factors Physical Requirements: Requires considerable physical effort most of the day, including squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, walking, lifting supplies, and sitting for long periods of time. Mental Requirements: Must make sound judgment based on assessment and available data, be flexible, innovative, work independently, possess computer, written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and prioritize multiple tasks under unpredictable circumstances. Hours and Schedule Flexible work schedule including all weekdays, with occasional weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed. Compensation & Benefits Full‑time provider: 21 PTO days per year, 4 CME days (32 hours). Part‑time provider: 16 PTO days per year, 3 CME days (24 hours). Lunch hours are mandatory daily.
