Summary :

Assists anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Assists with patient care during surgical treatment.

Responsibilities :

• Insures a complete setup for anesthesia services in all anesthetizing locations.
• Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes all anesthesia equipment.
• Assists anesthesia personnel with airway equipment, and anesthesia machine set up/troubleshooting.
• Assists with transport of monitored patients.
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
• May perform other duties upon request.
