Location: Concord, MA
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $23/hr - $25.30/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Answer inbound calls from providers, members, and healthcare facilities regarding authorizations, benefits, and case status.
• Review and process prior authorization requests received via phone, fax, or electronic submission.
• Create and document authorization cases accurately in the Utilization Management system or EMR/EHR.
• Route cases requiring medical necessity review to nurses (RNs/LVNs) or Medical Directors.
