Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Radiology
ARMStaffing is looking for a Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Radiology (Day Shift) in Utica, New York.
Location: Utica, NY
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift: Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday. On-call required from 17:00 to 07:00, with a weekend call rotation every fourth weekend.
Job Description: The Radiologic Technologist will perform interventional radiology procedures and provide quality imaging services to adult patients. The role involves working with advanced radiology equipment, including Siemens Artis-Q machines. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of the patients throughout the imaging process and will collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and imaging studies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Assist with the C-Arm in OR/ENDO procedures when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using EPIC and PACS systems.
- Administer common drips such as heparin infused saline.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as needed.
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; 2 years preferred.
Certifications/Licensure:
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
