We are seeking a talented and motivated Staff Accountant with tax preparation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in assisting clients with their tax compliance needs, preparing accurate financial statements, and providing valuable insights to support their business objectives. Responsibilities: Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure timely and accurate deliverables Utilize UltraTax software (experience is a plus) ​

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred 2+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel Experience with UltraTax software is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment \nCompany Description
