MARKET GROWTH MANAGER

Job Description:

The Market Growth Manager serves as the organization's subject matter expert for texture ingredients, leading initiatives that drive market share growth through strategic supplier relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and direct customer engagement. This role combines deep product and technical knowledge with strong commercial insight, acting as a key liaison between suppliers, product management, technical business development, and sales to develop and execute growth strategies that deliver profitable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

• business planning and collaboration to best understand product functionality, applications, and market opportunities, including opportunity pipeline communication.
• Sales Enablement: Serve as the internal subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to sales teams on product benefits, applications, and market positioning.
• Training & Education: Deliver internal and external training on hydrocolloids and starches to customers, sales, and technical business development teams.
• Market Opportunity Identification: Identify new market opportunities, target segments, and growth initiatives to expand sales and market share.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and functionality to support strategic decision-making.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Work cross-functionally to develop and execute product line and go-to-market strategies on selected product lines.
• Customer Engagement: Support customer engagement through sales meetings, customer visits, and collaborative business development efforts.
• Account Growth: Contribute to growth objectives by expanding product penetration within existing accounts and acquiring new opportunities.
• Product & Technical Expertise: Serve as the Batory Texture product expert, owning product, technical, and processing knowledge to best support Product Management, Technical Business Development, and Sales.
• Business Development: Build and create market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business.
• Professional Development: Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Education and Personal Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in sciences (food science, biology, ) or technical equivalent work experience preferred.
• 5+ years of National, Key, or Strategic Accounts sales experience with a Food Industry background.
• Demonstrated industry expertise in texture ingredients, including product functionality, applications, and processing knowledge.
• Proven experience developing and managing strategic supplier or vendor partnerships, including contract negotiation and business planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, competitive activity and product performance.
• Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to act as a subject matter expert and deliver hydrocolloid and starch training to internal teams and external customers.
• Track record of business development success, including identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, sales meetings, and business development activities.
• 1+ years of Microsoft platform-based CRM
• Strong proficiency in
• Microsoft D365 experience is a plus
