Family Law Paralegal

Responsibilities Conduct client interviews and gather information necessary to support family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division cases Assist with hearing, mediation, and trial preparation, ensuring attorneys have organized and complete materials needed for successful representation Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing for hearings, mediations, and court appearances Prepare, review, and organize legal documents, including Sworn Financial Statements, Rule 16.2 disclosures, pleadings, motions, and correspondence Coordinate case activity between clients, attorneys, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party professionals to ensure efficient case progression Qualifications Paralegal certificate, associate degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent legal education and experience preferred Minimum of 2 years of family law paralegal experience, preferably in a Colorado law firm environment Experience preparing family law documents, including financial disclosures, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client-service-oriented approach Strong knowledge of Colorado family law procedures, Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure, court processes, and filing deadlines Compensation $59,000 - $67,000 yearly $59,000-$67,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Halligan LLC
