ANALYST II

POD Coordinator (Analyst II) Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per Month. Appointment: 12‑month limited‑term with possibility of becoming permanent. Job Summary The POD Coordinator leads a team of legal support personnel in the Antitrust Section. The coordinator executes complex analytical tasks, serves as team lead, collaborates with other PODs across cities, and provides mentorship and training to team members. Responsibilities Delegate assignments to POD members and track and report overall project status. Collaborate with PODs in other cities to assist with court filings and operational tasks. Provide mentorship, training, and problem‑solving guidance to team members while monitoring performance and task execution. Compile and deliver regular progress reports to management regarding staff development and align team protocols with training from the Office of Professional Development and the Case Management Section. Research and implement optimal uses for electronic filing portals (CM/ECF, Odyssey eFile, File & ServeXpress, TrueFiling). Troubleshoot document issues, resolve file corruption, manage Judicial Council forms, and master applications such as Word, Legal MacPac, Best Authority. Prepare and process legal documents for filing in state and federal courts, identify declaration of services, verify case citations, and electronically file documents. Minimum Requirements Analyst II salary range $6,031 – $7,547 per month. New‑to‑State candidates may be hired at minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range. Desirable Qualifications Experience working in a legal office with substantive experience as a legal secretary or paralegal and Analyst I/II. Experience mentoring legal secretaries in civil litigation. Knowledge and experience supporting the Antitrust section. Experience handling large, complex cases with coordination across multiple attorneys, voluminous pleadings, and deposition scheduling/tracking. Experience working with state AGs or outside counsel. Experience arranging out‑of‑state travel and reimbursement requests. Proficient in SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Smart Sheets, ProLaw. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.
