Job Description

This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning centers and CNC machining centers in a small, employee-focused, temperature-controlled manufacturing shop. You will produce high-quality parts by interpreting blueprints, using precision measuring tools to verify tolerances, and maintaining a safe and organized work area while collaborating closely with shop leadership and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Program and run CNC turning centers and CNC machining centers to produce precision components.

• Set up jobs independently or with minimal supervision, including tooling, workholding, and program selection.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.

• Use gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify that tolerance requirements are met.

• Properly and safely load and unload materials into and out of CNC machines and related equipment.

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other machining equipment as needed.

• Perform changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

• Consistently record and provide all required production and quality data accurately and reliably.

This is a Permanent position based out of Woodstock, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Very nice environment - Temperature controlled Small family owned shop. Very employee friendly - they shut down for the week of July 4th and between Christmas and New Years.
