This is a full-time hybrid opportunity, offering a combination of in-office collaboration and flexible remote work. Note: To be considered, you must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and have at least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience, along with strong deposition and legal writing skills. Job Description Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution. Draft complaints, motions, oppositions, mediation briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents. Prepare and respond to written discovery. Take and defend depositions. Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and case management conferences. Develop litigation strategy while evaluating liability, damages, and evidentiary issues. Prepare clients for depositions, mediation, medical examinations, and trial. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, experts, and medical providers. Negotiate settlements and advise clients on case value and litigation strategy. Maintain deadlines and case management records. Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial as experience allows. Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing. 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Strong deposition experience. Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills. Knowledge of California civil procedure and discovery. Ability to independently manage deadlines and litigation responsibilities. Strong communication and client relationship skills. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required. Mediation, arbitration, or trial experience is a plus.
