Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization serving the Portland metro area, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their collaborative finance team. What You'll Do Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment Match invoices to supporting documentation and ensure proper approvals are obtained Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships Assist with month-end AP reconciliations and reporting Maintain organized electronic and paper records in accordance with organizational policies Support audits and provide requested AP documentation Collaborate with accounting and administrative staff on process improvements and special projects What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounts payable experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus, but not required Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach Why Consider This Opportunity?
