Vice President, Information Security - Automation Strategy

Technology – Information Security. Vice President, Information Security – Automation Strategy, responsible for setting the strategic direction for automation across all of Information Security and leading a team of Automation Leads.

Responsibilities

• Dissect processes across multiple workflows to identify automation opportunities and set a clear vision that inspires followership.
• Manage a collaboration framework and uphold governance across product teams.
• Drive automation strategy across the ISO, leading the community of practice and establishing governance frameworks.
• Oversee a centralized team of Automation Leads, enabling effective implementation of automation initiatives while mentoring for growth.
• Partner with Chief Product Owners from CDR, ASM, and IAM/Security Ops to strengthen security outcomes, accelerating threat detection, investigation, and response.
• Assess and optimize workflows using automation, AI, and machine learning to reduce manual effort and enhance scalability.
• Coordinate automation architecture and CI/CD capabilities to deploy, maintain, and improve solutions through iterative development.
• Promote a collaborative, learning-driven culture that adapts quickly to change and fosters innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and executing enterprise-wide automation strategies in information security domains.
• Demonstrated success leading and mentoring cross‑functional technical teams to ensure consistent implementation.
• Strong background in collaborating with teams to deliver integrated, security‑focused automation outcomes.
• Expertise in identifying and analyzing complex workflows to drive efficiency and scale using automation, AI, and machine learning.
• Familiarity with governance models and automation frameworks that promote accountability and shared ownership.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, aligning technical execution with strategic business goals.
• Experience fostering adaptive, innovation‑driven cultures that thrive on continuous learning and collaboration.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $178,600.00 – $267,800.00 (based on geography and experience).
