Helpdesk Tier 1
Velocity Technologies
The Helpdesk Tier 1 role owns first-response tickets, user communication, workstation basics, Microsoft 365 requests, password/access support, and clean documentation for Phoenix and East Valley clients. Responsibilities Triage ticket queues and capture user impact. Communicate with clients using plain language and keep them updated. Resolve common workstation, Microsoft 365, printer, MFA, VPN, and line‑of‑business access issues. Document fixes, escalation notes, device details, and recurring patterns for the team. Support onboarding and offboarding tasks using approved checklists and identity standards. Escalate tickets when they require systems, network, security, or vendor ownership. Qualifications Customer‑first communication with patience under pressure. Hands‑on Windows workstation troubleshooting experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, password resets, MFA, and basic Active Directory or Entra ID tasks. Ability to follow ticket, documentation, and escalation standards.
