Job Description Job Description Description We are looking for a passionate and driven Medical Assistant for our Louisville, KY market representing a critical part of our care delivery team. Key Responsibilities * Perform patient evaluations and submit them to the Medical Director (wound pictures and wound measurements). * Responsible for drawing blood from patients * Confirm you have the proper supplies for patient visits for the provider, order supplies, and make sure supplies are properly stocked at all times * Assisting provider in procedures with direction from provider * Provide effective, efficient, professional, and timely communication with patients, family, coworkers, management and care partners. * Take notes from provider and input into EMR and other related documentation * Report to Director of Operations * Position consists of traveling to patient's homes. * Assist in implementation of Healing Partner's clinical and operational protocols. * All other tasks and action items as requested and approved by leadership. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise * Medical Assistant Diploma * Certified Medical Assistant * Ability to and willingness to travel, treating patients in various SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities) throughout the Louisville, KY area as needed. * Experience in Wound Care is a plus.
