Commercial Lending Specialist

Job Title: Commercial Lending Specialist/ Commercial Loan Specialist/ Commercial Loan Closing Specialist
Job Location: 107 S Franklin St Suite 300 Tampa Florida 33602
Duration: 6+ months -(Contract To Hire)
Pay Rate: $32/Hr. on W2
Shift: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Mandatory: Commercial Loan Closing Or Commercial Loan Documentation Or any Commercial related banking work
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process commercial \(middle market\) loan documentation
Review and work with attorney-drafted loan documents
Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and paralegals to gather and verify required information
Handle a pipeline of approximately 6–8 loans per month
Ensure all loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies
Facilitate smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders
Support loan closing activities and post-closing documentation
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1- 2+ years of experience in commercial lending, preferably with middle-market loans
Strong understanding of loan documentation and processes
Experience interacting with legal teams, borrowers, and lending professionals
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications: (Not Mandatory)
Knowledge of collateral structures and loan appraisals
Experience working with attorney-prepared loan documents
Background in C&I lending environments
