\n \n \n \n \nWhile our Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for a variety of managerial tasks, common duties include:
\n- \n
- Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service \n
- Help in the process of hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation \n
- Streamline the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times \n
- Work to develop and maintain the restaurant menu \n
- Set regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels \n
- Creating schedules for all kitchen staff \n
- Track kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste \n
An excellent Assistant Kitchen Manager will possess a diverse set of skills. Skills which are important include:
