Registered Dietitian, CF - San Quentin State Prison (SQ)

Position: Registered Dietitian Location: San Quentin Rehabilitation Center, San Quentin, CA, Marin County Application Notes: Please indicate JC-515522 and position number 095-213-9279-001 on your application. Main communication for this position will be through email; ensure you have a valid email address on your application. Responsibilities Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in a correctional health care facility. Plan and organize dietary activity, write and review menus, and authorize substitution or modification of special diets. Serve as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and provide counseling to patients. Maintain order, supervise the conduct of incarcerated individuals, and protect the safety of persons and property. Minimum Qualifications Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Applicants with proof of eligibility to apply for registration are admitted to the examination but must become registered to be eligible for appointment.
