A stable, growing organization on the north side of Fort Wayne is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat and is looking to join a team where they can make an impact and grow long term.

What You'll Do
- Process daily cash receipts and prepare deposits
- Maintain daily cash balance reconciliations
- Post customer payments and research discrepancies
- Assist with monthly client invoice preparation and distribution
- Generate, review, and email invoices
- Track payment plans and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain and organize electronic documentation and records
- Reconcile vendor-related fees and revenue transactions
- Assist with final invoice preparation and collection efforts
- Create reports and spreadsheets to support accounting operations
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including formulas, sorting/filtering, data analysis, and reporting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat to edit, organize, and manage documents
- Comfortable learning and working within accounting and CRM systems
Professional Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
