Fertility Registered Nurse IVF

Chelsea Fertility NYC is a boutique clinic, aimed at achieving a high level of customer service and excellence. The ideal candidate for the role of a Nurse would be as followed.

40 hours a week: Business hours are from 9 am - 4 pm EST

Responsibilities:

Educate patients on medications, treatment protocols and procedures, and infertility evaluations
Oversee patients' cycling process - injection training, consent reviews, medication questions, and answer general process questions throughout the cycle
Coordinates patient treatment plans, such as Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization and Frozen Embryo Transfers
Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
Ensure all patient information is documented appropriately in our EMR according to our procedures
Routine phlebotomy as needed
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
Works independently to assure the program goals are achieved
Support and promote excellence in customer service
Provide feedback to HQ on process improvement and job specifications to help gain efficiencies in your day to day
Requires close personal contact with patients in role of treatment cycle coordination.
Desired Skills and Experience:

2+ years experience as a nurse in a fertility practice OR
5+ years OB/GYN
Operating room surgical skills: Egg retrieval, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy
Current Nurse license in the State of New York
BLS and ACLS Certification
Experienced in EMR, Practice Fusion, Kareo, Patient Portal, G-Suite - overall tech savvy
Ability to draw blood
Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service skills
High level flexibility
Detail oriented, strong willed, ready to assist the Doctors and office as a whole
