Group Logistics Manager I

Overview Location: Etna, OH. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (based on business needs). Salary: 110,000 – 125,000 DOE per year, plus benefits and PTO. Responsibilities Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, ongoing employee feedback and disciplinary actions. Developing direct and indirect reports and providing relevant HR skills training. Creating location processes, maintaining SCLM, and cross‑training CLS and CLC. Customer satisfaction and problem resolution, review of KPI tracking and improvement. Improve employee retention, reduce accidents, and manage overtime and safety reporting. Recommend and initiate location process improvements, assign responsibility, and conduct self‑audits of processes and accountabilities. SOX invoice reconciliation and revenue recognition preparation, invoice to customer. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience (2 years). Master’s Degree in a related field (preferred). 5+ years in supply‑chain, logistics, warehouse or industry‑related experience. 5+ years leading and developing direct reports. 5+ years managing large multi‑level teams. 3+ years developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills. 3+ years leading teams in a LEAN work environment (preferred). 3+ years of Profit & Loss responsibility (preferred). 1+ year managing customer KPIs. Experience in truck brokerage, RD/Logistics/Transportation, Ryder Safety Programs, Ryder Financial Reporting, and Ryder pricing models (advanced proficiency preferred). Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) – intermediate proficiency required. RD2000 computer system proficiency (advanced preferred). Ryder products & services, Ryder sales process, and Ryder pricing models – advanced proficiency preferred. Travel No travel required. Minimum Pay Range: 115,000. Maximum Pay Range: 125,000. Additional compensation may include annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plans based on level and type.
