Job Description Security Officer Zone Patrol in South Chesterfield, VA. Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour. As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team. Job Schedule: Monday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns. Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering and leaving the location, assisting with access control processes and reporting discrepancies, damaged property, and/or unauthorized activity. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance when needed, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and policy-related observations. Minimum Requirements A current guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
