Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a reliable approach while helping create a welcoming environment through routine patrols and daily interaction. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sunday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and residential amenities, verify permitted entry when required, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or vendors regarding property rules and expectations. Support the location by observing environmental conditions, reporting maintenance-related or security-related concerns, and following post orders for daily operations and incident response. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
