Nursing Assistant – Nursing

Full-Time, 3x12 hour shifts (Days/Nights rotation required); Every other weekend and holidays required.

Contract Length: 27 weeks

Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.

Measure and record vital signs and assist with activities of daily living as outlined in the plan of care.

Assist in nutritional needs by delivering meals, setting up trays, assisting with feeding, and distributing snacks while respecting patient choices.

Maintain patient safety and comfort by turning and positioning patients, providing skin care, and responding promptly to call lights and alarms.

Report changes in patient physical and emotional status to the nursing staff and participate in shift communication.

Support rehabilitation efforts by assisting with range of motion exercises, ambulation, transfers, and correct body alignment.

Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is anticipated; required tasks may involve contact with blood or body fluids.
