Germany Software Sales Account Manager - Cybersecurity ( Identity an Access Management solutions)

We are looking for a Software Sales Account Manager (SAM) in Germany . You would be operating in West and South Germany Zip Codes. The Role The SAM will work in tandem with the DACH Sales and Channel-Management to develop and execute a strategic plan to drive license revenue, primarily from net‑new accounts but additionally from existing customers. A special focus will lie on the Small‑and‑Medium (SMB) business market. Accounts will be designated from a specified territory, and while the role essentially requires activity in front of customers and prospects, the route to market is primarily through our network of channel partners (Distribution, Resellers and Global System Integrators). The role is a hunter‑role for an experienced self‑starter. Responsibilities Translate sales targets for the defined territory into a cohesive achievement plan based on personal expertise and the DACH strategy to support the goals and targets of the DACH business. Work in conjunction with the DACH, EMEA, and Global channel teams, leveraging their efforts and expertise to accelerate success in the defined industry sectors. Build a virtual team of resources and key stakeholders within One Identity to assist in all areas of the sales process. Articulate the One Identity message across the entire product portfolio, from both a technical and business perspective. Think and communicate in concepts rather than products or isolated solutions along the OSI‑model. Undertake periodic reviews of activity/achievement against agreed targets with milestone metrics to track achievement and/or develop alternative strategies & tactics to ensure delivery against defined targets. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Provide timely and accurate performance reporting to meet any required input to DACH management forecasting. Qualifications 7+ years of proven sales experience with Enterprise software, preferably focused on Identity and/or Security‑centric products. A wide network of established contacts across the Channel to accelerate One Identity’s growth within strategic partners. Willingness to travel as required across the territory as and when needed. Technical acumen with the ability to present and sell technology products in a business context. Strong commercial and negotiation skills at the enterprise level. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Ability to be independent and work on own initiative at times, but still excel as part of a team. High standard of excellence, attention to details as well as “big picture”, professionalism, and role model behavior. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and experience using the MEDDICC / MEDDPICC sales methodology is advantageous.
