Cash / Finance Manager

Our consumer goods, wholesale client near Hazlet, NJ is looking for a Cash/ Financial Manager to oversee A/P and support the Controller and Finance Director in all cash management functions, including lending agreements, borrowing and paybacks related to Asset Base Lending. This is a full time onsite position with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week. Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years’ experience in accounting/finance/cash management/full cycle accounting Experience with Asset Based lending, including agreements, borrowing and payback Experience in wholesale distribution, retail sales, and/or CPG industries Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite Understanding of Blue Cherry or other merchandising systems a plus Experience with Acumatica, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or related accounting/ERP programs Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance - CPA/MBA a plus Team leadership experience preferred Responsibilities Implementing and enabling proper financial and cash management processes and controls Ensuring compliance with Company and government policies Driving continuous process improvement with a focus on automation and use of AI Calculation of daily cash and borrowing availability, making borrowing and pay‑back decisions Understanding and assuring compliance with credit agreements, as well as monitoring relevant government regulations Participate in month-end close processes, including account reconciliations, overseeing and recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting documentation Oversee and prepare various balance sheet recs, maintaining relevant support in audit‑ready fashion Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on actions needed Target Salary Up to $120,000.
