Account Manager

Agilix Solutions currently has an opening for an Account Manager at our St. Louis, MO location. This position is strategically marketing, promoting, and profitably aligning our products and services to both existing and potential customers. The potential customer base includes a mix of industrial MRO, Commercial and Solar accounts. This role requires a high-energy individual with strong personal skills and good communication. This role will report to the Vice President of East Region. Responsibilities Identify and develop relationships with key buying influences of Agilix products and services at all levels of assigned accounts. Create and execute strategic account plans to increase the market share of Agilix products and services to assigned accounts. Establish and maintain customer relationships and prospect new opportunities to grow profitable sales. Remain current on all Agilix Solutions products and services. Clearly communicate the Agilix value to all levels of an account. Continuous execution of a Disciplined Sales Process at all assigned accounts. Penetrate and identify the target customer base, establish relationships, and cultivate new opportunities. Lead client-driven training events including lunch and learns, scheduled technical classes and talks, along with other business-related presentations. (Utilizing Demo equipment and vendors when needed. Develop relationships with vendors and engage both vendor and internal resources to identify and close opportunities. Qualifications 3-5 years of industry experience, electrical distribution experience is considered a plus. Familiarization with Electrical, Industrial, and Industrial Automation Products and services College degree preferred with equivalent work experience acceptable. Passion for problem solving for customer applications and issues and a desire to convert competitively held accounts. Ability to view supported products and technology as part of business strategy. Ability to administer and implement marketing, promotional programs, and product launches from Identified Product Business. Ability to lead and coordinate the sales teaming efforts required to identify and to close account conversions. High level of business acumen. Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate highly technical products and services. Strong arbitration skills to effectively listen, communicate, and gain consensus. Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations. Computer skills (i.e., Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, PDF, PowerPoint) Creative thinker with the ability to create original concepts to train, service, and sell to internal and external customers. Understanding of data and how it can be used to analyze business opportunities. Collaborative coordination and time management. Ability to work as part of a team selling model with high mental agility and willingness to pivot and change direction based on conditions. Physical Requirements Requires prolonged periods of driving, getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day, standing/walking at customer sites, as well as sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.
