Human Resource Intern The Human Resource Intern will support the HR team with a variety of projects and administrative activities while gaining hands‑on experience across multiple HR disciplines, including recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, training, HR compliance, and HR operations. This internship provides exposure to the day‑to‑day functions of a growing manufacturing and automation organization and offers valuable professional development opportunities. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources Administration Assist with maintaining employee records and HR files. Support data entry and audits within HR systems. Help prepare HR reports, presentations, and employee communications. Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation activities. Support HR compliance initiatives and document management. Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Assist with posting positions on job boards and company career sites. Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews. Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Help maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics. HR Projects Support ongoing HR initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, wellness, training, and culture. Assist with research, benchmarking, and data collection for HR programs. Help develop training materials, employee resources, and process documentation as needed. Participate in special projects related to talent development, employee experience, and organizational initiatives. Employee Engagement & Culture Assist with employee recognition programs and engagement activities. Help coordinate company events. Support employee surveys and feedback initiatives (exit interviews, onboarding surveys). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with human resources is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers. Other Skills and Abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong customer service mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Initiative and willingness to learn. Problem‑solving and analytical thinking. Professionalism and positive attitude. Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms is a plus. Experience with HRIS platforms is a plus (i.e., Paycor). Interest in Human Resources, recruiting, employee relations, or organizational development is a plus. Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
