Respiratory Therapist
A Respiratory Therapist is responsible for monitoring and treating patients with temporary or chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, or emphysema. Their duties include interviewing patients and completing diagnostic tests to determine their respiratory conditions. They communicate with physicians and nurses to develop patient treatment plans. Respiratory Therapists administer respiratory treatments to patients based on their conditions.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
License: Current NY RRT License
Certifications: CPR certification (BLS through AHA)
Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy, Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Comfortable and willing to work various shifts and weekends as needed
