Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Groveport, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, and reliability, you will help create a welcoming presence while responding to site needs with agility and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance or operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support daily operations by completing activity reports, noting policy-related concerns, and communicating clearly with supervisors and/or local site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
