Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy public transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will also support riders and staff through strong customer service and communication while bringing a caring, reliable approach, teamwork, agility, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and high-traffic public spaces, assisting with access control, crowd management, and direction for passengers and visitors.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting during disruptions or emergencies, and following post orders related to transit operations and public interaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
