Security Guard Patrol Detail – Ashville, OH – Part Time. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour. This Part‑time Security Officer role lets you build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Job Schedule Tue: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sat: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and technology location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help confirm that only authorized personnel and/or visitors enter restricted areas in accordance with site protocols. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activity, incidents, and security‑related concerns, and relay important information during shift handoffs and/or as directed by Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
