Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Guard in Ashville, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and security-related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate contact. Support Allied Universal standards by following post orders, communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, and assisting with daily security-related operations at the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
