Labor Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in downtown Des Moines. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are processed efficiently and safely.
Pay: $18/hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Prepare and package outgoing orders accurately
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas
- Track inventory and update records as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts if applicable)
- Coordinate with team members to meet shipping deadlines
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping and receiving experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation
- Dependable with good attendance
