Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay: $1,938 to $2,072. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ED patients according to the nursing process and established standards of care
- Perform triage, initial assessment, monitoring, interventions, and ongoing evaluation for trauma and emergency patients
- Administer medications and therapies; monitor for adverse reactions; document care in the electronic health record
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines
- Collaborate with the trauma team as applicable; participate in handoffs, transport, and discharge planning; uphold patient safety and infection control practices

Requirements
- Current, active California RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience: ER or acute care nursing experience preferred; strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department and to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
