Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

A well-established dental and aesthetics practice in Montrose, CO is seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to support and grow its medical spa and wellness services. This flexible, part-time role (remote or in-person) offers significant growth potential as the practice expands.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct consultations for medical weight loss programs, including GLP-1 therapies.

Review patient histories, educate patients on treatment options, and provide follow-up guidance.

Prescribe weight loss medications and wellness therapies in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.

Consult with patients interested in PRF joint injection treatments and coordinate care with the dentist.

Order and oversee IV vitamin and wellness therapies.

Serve as a patient resource by explaining treatments, risks, benefits, and expectations.

Periodically review aesthetic patient charts and ensure continuity of care.

Collaborate with practice leadership to develop and expand medical spa and wellness offerings.

Assist with workflow development, patient education processes, and future service implementation.

Ideal Candidate

Licensed Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical judgment.

Excellent patient communication and education skills.

Interest in aesthetics, wellness, and helping build a growing medical spa program.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the dental team.

Skills and Requirements

· Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license appropriate to the state of practice.

· Prescriptive authority as required for the responsibilities of the position.

· Current CPR/BLS certification, if required.

· Experience with or interest in medical weight management, GLP-1 therapies, wellness, IV therapy, aesthetics, or regenerative medicine preferred.

· Strong clinical judgment and attention to patient safety.

· Excellent communication and patient education skills.

· Comfortable discussing treatment options and answering patient questions.

· Professional, personable, and confident working directly with patients.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dentist and existing team.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Willingness to help build and grow a new division within an established practice. - experience working in a remote/hybrid environment.
