Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effects as per protocol
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Current AWHONN Intermediate or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Current NRP certification required
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire
