Prior Authorization Coordinator

To support a rapidly growing team, the full-time remote Prior Authorization Coordinator will review and process prior authorizations for biologics and oncology therapies, manage clinical documentation, and communicate with patients and providers to facilitate approvals for specialty treatments. Key responsibilities Review and process prior authorization orders for timely and accurate completion Obtain and assess necessary clinical information to support prior authorization submissions Investigate and resolve outstanding medical documentation concerns and assist with denied claims Required qualifications Hands-on experience with prior authorizations for biologics, oncology, or specialty therapies Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and payer portals Minimum of three years of experience in hospital or clinical service access or a similar role High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is a plus
