Full Time - Sales Associate - Inside Lawn & Garden - Day

Overview As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe’s, you provide professional, friendly customer service, help customers locate and select home‑improvement products, stock and organize merchandise, process orders and deliveries, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly service. Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise. Replenish stock by finding empty shelf space. Process orders and deliveries accurately. Cross‑train in other areas of the store as needed. Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and bundle items). Guide customers through shopping or checkout. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications At least 6 months’ experience using a computer (data entry, retrieval, and basic arithmetic). At least 6 months’ experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform required physical tasks. Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, or 25‑lbs with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Retail and/or customer‑service experience of at least 6 months. Bi‑lingual skills. Certification in the relevant trade (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden). Travel Requirements This role requires no regular travel; occasional travel may occur for meetings, training, or support of adjacent stores. Working Conditions Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments, exposing employees to varying weather conditions, noise, and the handling of moving or heavy equipment.
