Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Active and valid State Physical Therapist License (sanctioned by the State Board of Physical Therapy)
• Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is highly preferred, though not required
• Proven ability to assess, plan, and deliver targeted interventions to meet student needs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive environment for children

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement service plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on gross motor skills, adaptive equipment, and mobility strategies
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integration of therapy goals into daily routines
• Stay current with best practices, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to team meetings
