Work Environment: Acute care settings including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, perianesthesia, endoscopy, and cardiac catheterization units.

Key Responsibilities: Efficiently manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing multiple responsibilities. Engage in ongoing education to implement practice improvements and cost-saving measures. Assign patient care based on nurse expertise and patient acuity, applying evidence-based practices to enhance workplace quality. Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Candidates from non-accredited programs must have at least five years of acute care nursing experience or hold an advanced degree from an accredited institution. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is also acceptable. Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications must be obtained and maintained.

Licensure: Current active Registered Nurse licensure as required by the regional nursing board.

Shift: Night shift, part-time, 24 hours per week. This position offers a warm, collaborative atmosphere in a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest, focused on delivering outstanding pediatric nursing care.
